An Intervention Study to Increase the Medication Compliance of 60 Years and Older Individuals

Abstract Background In older age, taking medication at the desired level contributes to health and well-being, therefore, constitutes an essential part of effectiveness treatment ultimately public impact reduced healthcare budgets. However, it is known that compliance among persons frequently not a level. Therefore, in this study, was aimed increase through educational intervention for patients aged 60 over, who applied two facilities Ankara, Turkey. Methods This study implemented hospitals between March June 2019. 315 people over participated study. The tool “teach-back” method. SPSS program used data entry analysis. P value less than 0.05 indicated statistical significance.
